Thank you for the fiscally responsible approach, and for contemplating opportunities and values that will renew infrastructure in our city in a way that becomes the Nation’s Capital.

Field Effect is a growing cyber security firm, with our headquarters at Lansdowne and operations globally. Our long-term presence at Lansdowne is no mistake: the location enables us to build our brand, bring Ottawa to the world stage, and offer our employees a campus style environment only otherwise available with large Silicon Valley firms. I fully endorse the construction of new residential towers, a new north stadium, and a modern event centre at Lansdowne. The businesses on the site need more customers to ensure they remain viable, particularly as we emerge from COVID-19, which has been detrimental to so many local businesses.

Lansdowne is a city-wide asset that draws people from all over the region and tourists form around the world. It’s a place where experiences and memories are made that will last a lifetime. I support the Lansdowne plan and look forward to throwing a great party in my backyard, and yours…TD Place and Lansdowne.

OSEG has done more than just bring football back to Ottawa. Through their OSEG Foundation, they are working to make sport accessible to all Ottawa youth, particularly those who are most marginalized. As a passionate advocate for women’s sport, they give me a platform to open up the sports world to more girls so that we build a generation of strong and confident women. OSEG and the OSEG Foundation play a role in building Ottawa as a strong and vibrant community. I look forward to being a part of their continued journey.

I am grateful for the presence and positive impact that the OSEG group has had on the high performance and professional sport landscape in this city. They have brought meaningful employment to so many athletes, coaches, and sport professionals, the restaurant and hospitality industry, as well as significant economic gains throughout the community.

Whether it be as an Ottawa 67s seasons ticket holder, a Redblacks fan, a regular concert attendee, curling fan, and movie goer, I am grateful to have access to what OSEG, in partnership with the City of Ottawa, has helped build for us.
